Introduction

Delivering legal legal services online is not justabout about efficiency of legal legal and decreasing overhead expenses,it is amatter of providing good customer service to clients. Online legal service delivery can span from initiation of the lawyer -client relationshipto the of legal services and payment to the firm for ongoing relationship between the firm and the client tha provides superior customer service and long -term legal care beyond traditional delivery methods.

Motivation | Problem

In the bid to get a legal service from attorney, the process of traveling from my location to the attorneys office, the time wasted and the danger of traveling to and fro got me thinking; what if this services can be rendered over the web through the internet? Rendering this service over the web can cut down so many expenses, thereby saving me a lot of stress and also helping the legal firm to reach vast customers in return.

Aims & Objectives

The objectives of this project is to provide a model of a platform that would enable legal organisations especially in the country to be able to deliver legal services to their clients using the internet. It also offers clients with information about different types of legal services and the requirements needed. This will help the client to be able to gather information needed to get a legal service from the firm, preparing all answers and documents ready before placing an order to the firm.

Methodology

In order to arrive with the specifications of our information system, I adopted the SSADM (Structured System Analysis and Design Method) and prototype model. The prototype methodology was adopted so as to involve a Barrister in the development process. This is as a result of the Melbourne team having few knowledge of the legal field and how services are structured. To ensure that all features the system is trying to solve are properly integrated, the prototype developed will be reviewed by the client who has a profession in the legal field to ensure that all integration works in tandem with the legal rule.

Specific Objectives

• To provide a platform where clients seeking for legal services can register.
• Direct booking of telephone conversation with an attorney.
• Instant communication with an attorney using the instant messaging live chat.
• Direct submission of required questions and documents needed
• Allowing users to be able pay for the service(s) needed online using their debit via flutterwave RAVE API
• Making it easy for users to receive their documents in an electronic format.
• Integrating an e signature
